Brief
Rewrite the existing menu copy and buttons in order to make them easy to understand.
Often times in a startup, prior to a single copywriter joining, the in-app writing is created by whoever happens to create a feature.
This can lead to overly technical or hyper detailed copy!
Solution ✨
Replace technical language with more human descriptions and simple options.
The main difference was simply to cut down on amount of lines — not revolutionary, but tends to make a massive difference! I also wanted to include a value prop when room allowed… “Let us do all the work”, “Repeating audio can be annoying.” Lastly I made sure to change to binary button options which are way simpler to scan.
